Wild West Cornwall
Join Adam shooting the stunning coastline at the far western tip of Cornwall. This rugged landscape, bursting with photographic potential, offers some of the UK’s most dramatic and beautiful coastline. We plan to visit many of Cornwall’s best known photographic locations such as St Michaels Mount, Porth Nanven and Land’s End, as well as a few off-the-grid locations along the way. With such a small group, we can be flexible and reactive to unpredictable weather, changing plans if necessary throughout each day.
Our tour begins at midday on the first day, where after an initial short briefing we will head out to a variety of locations for the rest of the day. Each day thereafter we will aim to be shooting from sunrise through to sunset, returning to the hotel briefly after sunrise for breakfast before heading out for the rest of the day, returning to our accommodation after sunset.
With a maximum group number of only four participants, our chosen locations will be uncrowded ensuring everybody has access to shoot that special viewpoint. Adam will encourage you to fully explore each location to find your own viewpoints and compositions, while helping you capture beautiful landscape photographs.
Our tours are aimed at everybody, from beginners looking for advice and encouragement through to experienced photographers wishing only to be guided to locations. With such a small group, you can be assured of Adam’s attention, support and feedback throughout each location we visit.
Please note: This tour requires a moderate level of fitness. Although most locations can be acccessed via short walks, some locations require walks of up to 30 minutes.
Accommodation
Our base for this workshop will be the Land's End Hotel. Perched on the cliff tops at England's most westerly point the accommodation is without doubt the best located hotel in Cornwall for landscape photographers. Just a few metres from the hotel, the Atlantic pounds against the spectacular granite cliffs of Land's End.
You will enjoy a modern, refurbished, beautifully decorated double bedroom with magnificent sea views over the Atlantic. For more information please check out the hotel website here.
What to Bring
To enable you to get the most out of the workshop please bring the following camera gear:

- Filters (a set of Kase filters will be available for you to use throughout the workshop should you require them)
