The Coast of Anglesey

Last Place Remaining

Join Adam for a photographic adventure exploring the stunning Anglesey coastline in North Wales.  Boasting a 125 mile stretch of fabulous coast the Isle of Anglesey benefits from many incredible photographic gems, which make it an ideal place to host a photographic workshop.

Throughout this Discovery Tour we will not only visit some of Anglesey's most spectacular and famous photographic locations, such as Llanddwyn Island and Penmon Point but also explore some of the island's other lesser known photographic delights.  With our hotel being right next to the famous suspension bridge in Menai, we are also ideally positioned to shoot the Menai Bridge and can even to cross over to the mainland and shoot nearby castles Caernarvon and Conwy.  With some of Snowdonia National Park's best locations within 20 minutes drive, we even have options to totally change our itinerary if the right conditions offer themselves.

With the long daylight hours in May, this workshop will have a slightly different format to usual, offering 3 nights accommodation.  We will meet on the first evening for dinner and to discuss the plan for the days ahead.  For the next two days we will shoot sunrise through to sunset, with a few hours after breakfast each morning to catch some rest.  On the final day we will shoot sunrise and then finish after breakfast, allowing plenty of time to check out and take a leisurely drive home.

With a maximum group number of only four participants, our chosen locations will be uncrowded ensuring everybody has access to shoot that special viewpoint.  Adam will encourage you to fully explore each location to find your own viewpoints and compositions, while helping you capture beautiful landscape photographs.

Our tours are aimed at everybody, from beginners looking for advice and encouragement through to experienced photographers wishing only to be guided to locations.  With such a small group, you can be assured of Adam’s attention, support and feedback throughout each location we visit.

Please note: This tour requires a moderate level of fitness.  Although most locations can be acccessed via short walks, there are several locations which will involve walks of between 20-30 minutes.

Accommodation

During this workshop we will be staying for 3 nights in the Anglesey Arms hotel.  Positioned in an excellent location, the hotel is the first building you will pass as you cross the famous Thomas Telford suspension bridge to reach Anglesey.

Each guest will enjoy a beautifully decorated double room with en suite facilities.  For more information please visit the Anglesey Arms website.
