Lake District National Park

Fully Booked

Join Adam for a five day tour of the beautiful Lake District National Park.  During this tour, Adam will utilise his extensive knowledge of the Lakes to guide you to all his favourite locations.  With five days, we will have plenty of time to fully explore the National Park, and photographic its many highlights in their autumnal glory.

In order to make the most of the incredible scenery, we shall shoot from both lake shores and fell tops, giving you the oppourtunity to capture many of the Lake District's finest vistas.

Our tour begins at midday on the first day where, after an initial short briefing we will head out for the rest of the day.  Each day thereafter we will aim to be shooting from sunrise through to sunset, returning to the hotel for breakfast before heading out again for the rest of the day.

With a maximum group number of only four participants, our chosen locations will be uncrowded ensuring everybody has access to shoot that special viewpoint.  Adam will encourage you to fully explore each location to find your own viewpoints and compositions, while helping you capture beautiful landscape photographs.

Our tours are aimed at everybody, from beginners looking for advice and encouragement through to experienced photographers wishing only to be guided to locations.  With such a small group, you can be assured of Adam’s attention, support and feedback throughout each location we visit.

Please note: This tour has been classified as moderate.  While some locations will be easily reached, others will involve uphill walks of up to 30 minutes.

Our hotel for this workshop will be the Kings Head Inn in Thirlmere.  Lying at the base of Helvellyn, the Kings Head makes a fantastic base for a Lake District workshop, and is situated in a ideal position midway between Keswick and Ambleside.

A former 17th Century Coaching Inn, the Kings Head has recently been completely refurbished to a high specification.  Each guest will enjoy single occupancy of a beautiful double en suite bedroom, offering views to beautiful Cumbrian scenery.  For more information on the Kings Head please visit their website.
