Join me on my latest Discovery Tour as I venture into the charming Cotswolds in the south west of England. Renowned for its idyllic villages with picturesque honey coloured stone cottages, as well as gorgeous rolling farmland, the Cotswolds is a treat for any photographer. On this tour I will guide you to, and help you photograph some of the Cotswolds most beautiful villages as well as its lovely countryside.
In order to make the most of the golden hours this tour runs over three days. We meet at 4pm on the first day, allowing you plenty of time to check into your room and relax before we venture out to shoot our first location in the evening light. The next day will involve an early start to shoot a village scene before the tourists arrive, followed by breakfast and some recovery time at the hotel. We will head out again around midday and stay out until sunset at around 9pm, stopping for dinner along the way. On the final day, we will have another early morning shoot followed by breakfast, and will then head out for another days worth of photography, returning to the hotel at 6pm to finish the workshop.
With a maximum group number of only four participants, our chosen locations will be uncrowded ensuring everybody has access to shoot that special viewpoint. Adam will encourage you to fully explore each location to find your own viewpoints and compositions, while helping you capture beautiful landscape photographs.
Our tours are aimed at everybody, from beginners looking for advice and encouragement through to experienced photographers wishing only to be guided to locations. With such a small group, you can be assured of Adam’s attention, support and feedback throughout each location we visit.
Accommodation
Our base for this workshop will be the Colesbourne Inn. Set in the heart of the picturesque Cotswold countryside and occupying two acres, The Colesbourne Inn is a delightful old coaching inn of the Colesbourne Estate dating back to 1827. Recommendations
"Just a wee email to thank you once again for a totally brilliant workshop, and for all your patience with my compositional efforts! I learned vastly more from you in the last three days than I have from all the other workshops I've been to combined."
Eric, Northumberland Discovery Tour (2021)
"Adam. I Just wanted to say a huge thank you for a fantastic day on Thursday. It has to be the best money I have ever spent on anything photographic, by a long way. Not only has my landscape photography improved, it is now on a different level, as is my technique overall."
David, Cornwall Workshop
"I just want to say how much I enjoyed our session on Friday last. Not only did you impart a great deal of instruction and information you did it in a very relaxed and informal way. All in all I gained a lot, not only from your patient instruction but from our easy and relaxed conversation."
Dennis, 1-2-1 Tuition Day
"I'd like to thank you again for the great workshop in the Brecon Beacons. I've seen wonderful locations and I've learned a lot."
