Bannau Brycheiniog
Join Adam in the beautiful Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, formerly known as the Brecon Beacons, for a 3 day Discovery Tour. Bannau Brycheiniog is an area that Adam knows very well, having photographed the national park throughout four seasons for a coffee table book published in 2010.
On this tour, we will prioritise the beautiful rolling countryside, mountains and lakes on the eastern side of the national park, while also venturing over to explore the renowned waterfall area near Ystradfellte. As well as shooting the popular landscape photography locations such as Llangorse Lake and the Llangattock Escarpment, Adam will also guide you to many of the national park's lesser known vistas. With the possibility of morning mist, seasonal colours, elegant waterfalls and rich autumnal light Bannau Brycheiniog is at its best during Autumn, while the shorter day length means we don't have such early starts and late finishes.
Our tour begins at midday on the first day, where after an initial short briefing we will head out for the rest of the day. For the following two days we will aim to be shooting from sunrise through to sunset, returning to the hotel after sunrise for breakfast before heading out again late morning for the rest of the day.
With a maximum group number of only four participants, our chosen locations will be uncrowded ensuring everybody has access to shoot that special viewpoint. Adam will encourage you to fully explore each location to find your own viewpoints and compositions, while helping you capture beautiful landscape photographs.
Our tours are aimed at everybody, from beginners looking for advice and encouragement through to experienced photographers wishing only to be guided to locations. With such a small group, you can be assured of Adam’s attention, support and feedback throughout each location we visit.
Please note: This tour has been classified as requiring a moderate level of fitness. Being a mountain area, several locations require uphill walks to reach the best viewpoints. While steep in some places, the locations we will shoot from involve walks of no more than 20-30 minutes at most.

During this workshop, we will be based based at the Manor Hotel in Crickhowell.
