Anglesey and Snowdonia
Join Adam for a photographic adventure exploring the beautiful coastline and countryside of North Wales. During this tour we will be exploring both the rugged Anglesey coastline and Snowdonia National Park, which together boast some of the finest scenery in Wales.
During this five day tour, we will allocate plenty of time to photograph many of the highlights of these two incredible areas, plus some hidden delights in between. When it comes to spectacular coastline, Anglesey is justifiably renowned amongst photographers. We plan to visit all of the famous spots such as South Stack, Penmon Point and of course the incredible Llanddwyn Island. Additionally, Adam will take you to some lesser visited spots on the island, to photograph cliff top vistas that will take your breath away.
When not exploring Anglesey, we will be venturing into the dramatic and mountainous Snowdonia National Park. One of the UK's most beloved National Parks, Snowdonia contains a wealth of photographic treats waiting to be discovered. We will hope for reflective lakes, dramatic light, and morning mist, and by visiting in mid October all three of these are very much a possibility.
With our hotel being right next to the famous suspension bridge in Menai, we are ideally positioned to head to the coast or the mountains depending on how the forecast is looking.
Our tour begins at midday on the first day, where after a short initial briefing at the hotel we will head out for the rest of the day. For the next three days we will shoot sunrise through to sunset, returning to the hotel for breakfast. On the fifth day we will shoot sunrise and then finish after breakfast, allowing plenty of time to check out and take a leisurely drive home.
With a maximum group number of only four participants, our chosen locations will be uncrowded ensuring everybody has access to shoot that special viewpoint. Adam will encourage you to fully explore each location to find your own viewpoints and compositions, while helping you capture beautiful landscape photographs.
Our tours are aimed at everybody, from beginners looking for advice and encouragement through to experienced photographers wishing only to be guided to locations. With such a small group, you can be assured of Adam’s attention, support and feedback throughout each location we visit.
Please note: This tour requires a moderate level of fitness. Although most locations can be acccessed via short walks, there are several locations which will involve walks of between 20-30 minutes.
