International Garden Photographer of the Year

I'm really thrilled to announce that one of my pictures has been achieved Highly Commended in this years International Garden Photographer of the Year.  Run in association with the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, the International Garden Photographer of the Year (IGPOTY) is the world's premier competition and exhibition specialising in garden, plant, flower and botanical photography.

This is my first year of entering this competition, and to receive Highly Commended already is an exciting achievement.  My image, 'Striving for Perfection' has now been recognised in two major photographic competitions, firstly the Landscape Photographer of the Year competition in 2008 and now the 'Trees' category of the IGPOTY.

The image will now be printed large in the quality coffee table book which accompanies the competition, as well as touring to many destinations around the world in the competition exhibition.
