Glencoe & Rannoch Moor with Dawn 2 Dusk Photography
Often considered one of Scotland’s most beautiful places, the landscapes of, and around, Glencoe are justifiably world renowned. Located in the Highlands, the immense glacial valley of Glencoe is surrounded by towering mountain peaks and stretches from Rannoch Moor to Loch Leven.
As well as photographing the glen we will spend much of our time exploring the rolling moorlands of Rannoch Moor, its wild scenery making it one of the UK’s premier locations for landscape photography. By running the trip in late Autumn, we increase our chances of photographing autumnal colour combined with the onset of winter.
During this 3-day workshop we will be staying in the highly regarded and cosy Clachaig Inn, in Glencoe. The Clachaig is ideally located within the glen, and only minutes drive from Rannoch Moor. Included in the price is 3 course dinner (Sunday & Monday) and hearty Scottish breakfast and pack-lunch (Monday & Tuesday).
During the workshop you will be under the guidance of 2 of the UK’s leading professional landscape photographers, Adam Burton and Ross Hoddinott. With a maximum group size of 10, plenty of individual attention is guaranteed. During the workshop we will photograph the Pass of Glencoe, as well as the highlights of Rannoch Moor including Lochan na h-achlaise and the iconic Buachaille Etive Mòr mountain. Further afield we will shoot Castle Stalker, and of course explore the landscapes of the beautiful Glen Etive. We hope you can join us…
