Workshop - North Devon Coast workshop
Would you like to photograph some of the most spectacular yet relatively undiscovered coastline in Britain? While there can be no doubting the beauty of the famous Cornish coast, there are large parts of Devon that are equally spectacular and yet little photographed.
On our workshop we will take you to photograph beaches you have probably not even heard of, let alone seen images of. We will shoot the Atlantic from safe clifftop vantage points and capture all the magnificence of this ocean as it crashes into Hartland Point, a location possibly more treacherous than Land's End. We will take you to probably the prettiest fishing village in the UK to photograph the ancient harbour and cobbled lanes of picturesque Clovelly.
Staying in our chosen clifftop hotel you will be close to the sea at all times, and enjoy a variety of different coastal subjects to photograph throughout the weekend. Our Devon workshop is tailored to offer you a weekend bursting with incredible photographic opportunities, all within close proximity of each other. And for those still undecided about choosing Devon over Cornwall, we may even pop over the border to Sandymouth for an evening if conditions present themselves!

Throughout the course of the workshop you will receive instruction on, and plenty of time to develop the following techniques:
- Switching to manual settings
- Using filters (Neutral Density Grads, straight ND’s and Polarisers)
- Understanding exposure
- Mastering composition
- Understanding natural light
- Finding shots with impact
