Workshop - Enchanting Exmoor workshop
Exmoor offers a special combination of coast and countryside, forest and moorland, all packaged in one of Britain’s smallest National Parks. Rolling pastoral countryside gives way to high open moorland, carpeted with beautiful heather in the late summer. Roaming free on this exposed plateau are both wild sheep and hardy Exmoor Ponies, the oldest and most pure bred of British horses.
Open moorland plunges down steep sided valleys into wooded combes, offering rocky streams and the occasional waterfall hidden beneath leafy canopies. Ideal for photography at any time of year, the colours of Autumn bring an extra dimension, offering yellows and reds above and colourful reflections below.
These deep valleys eventually open out at the coast, sometimes revealing pretty fishing villages, other times tiny hidden coves. The surrounding sea cliffs are incredible to behold, the highest in all England. A walk on the clifftop moors in the summer provides carpets of intense purple heather, perfect photographic foreground subjects, while the far reaching coastal views make ideal backgrounds.
For photographers seeking tremendous variety and infinite beauty, Enchanting Exmoor offers the ideal workshop solution.
