I have just finished setting up a new exhibition, which opens today in the High Moorland Visitor Centre in Dartmoor. The exhibition is a celebration of National Parks, and features my favourite pictures from most of the UK's National Parks. As the exhibition is in Dartmoor, there is a particular emphasis on this beautiful wilderness, but there are also pictures from Snowdonia, the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales to name but a few. All framed pictures are available to purchase from the wall, making them ideal gifts for special Christmas presents.

The High Moorland Visitor Centre is located in Princetown, right in the middle of Dartmoor. The exhibition runs until 4th March 2012. More details can be found on the Dartmoor National Park Authority website here.

New Forest Exhibition now in Lyndhurst

My New Forest exhibition has now reached it's final venue, opening at the New Forest Visitor Centre in Lyndhurst on Saturday 22nd October. The exhibition will run here for just over one month, ending on Saturday 27th November. The exhibition features all of my favourite pictures of the New Forest captured over the years, and throughout the seasons, both framed conventionally and printed onto canvas.

As this is the final leg of the exhibition, the pictures all need new homes to go to. Therefore from the outset of the exhibition just about ALL the pictures on display have been reduced massively, with discounts between 40% and 50% off their usual prices. If you are looking for special Christmas presents for friends and family who love the New Forest, then drop into the Visitor Centre when you are next in Lyndhurst. Just one word of warning - when the pictures are sold from the wall they will not be replaced, so head to the exhibition early if you want the best choice!

	**UPDATE** 10th November

The exhibition has been an incredible success, with only a few of my pictures remaining. If you are thinking of visiting please don't be put off because all empty wall space has been filled with the beautiful New Forest photography of Kevan Brewer. For anybody who may have missed out on their favourite picture, I would like to offer you a 20% discount on any New Forest print ordered through my website over the next month. To take advantage of this offer, when ordering online please enter the code NewForest2011 into the discount code box. This discount applies to pictures from the New Forest gallery only.

I'm really chuffed to announce that I have received 2 commended entries in this years Take a View Landscape Photographer of the Year competition. In addition, I was really thrilled to be told that one of my entries has been selected for the awards book cover picture, as well as the exhibition banner and will be on the exhibition invitations too !

I've had a lot of good fortune in this competition, with commended entries for 5 consecutive years, and 12 pictures in the awards books but being on the cover is probably the best news yet! 100 of the best pictures from the competition will be exhibited at the National Theatre in London from the 5th December until the 28th January.

New Forest exhibition at Moors Valley

I am delighted to announce that my latest exhibition is opening at Moors Valley Country Park in Dorset on the 3rd September. This exhibition will focus on landscape photographs of the New Forest, and will include my favourite pictures captured in this National Park. Both framed and canvas pictures can be purchased direct from the walls.

It's really great to be exhibiting again at Moors Valley. This was the location of my first ever exhibition, and I have returned a good few times since, but this will be my first exhibition there in over 4 years so I'm really looking forward to it. If you haven't been to Moors Valley before, its really worth a day trip. As well as my exhibition the Country Park features many miles of forest tracks, ideal for walking and cycling. Or for the more adventurous there is a thrilling Go Ape hire-wire circuit through the treetops. For children there are many play trails and play areas, and even a narrow gauge steam train. All in all it makes a great day out in one of the South's most popular venues.

The exhibition run's until the 16th October. For more details of how to get to Moors Valley, please check out their website.

Spring Update

With Spring now almost rolling into Summer, its high time I posted a news update to prove I've not been twiddling my thumbs in the office over the past few months! In fact its been a really busy time for me; since Spring finally arrived after what seemed to be a very long winter I've been rushed off my feet with work, not that I'm complaining. Here's a quick update with some of the highlights.

Back in April I was commissioned by the British Tourist Authority to shoot Spring landscapes around Devon and Somerset. This included some days photography on Exmoor which, after shooting for my book in 2008 is an area I always enjoy returning to. Then in May I was commissioned by the Woodland Trust to capture images inside one of their infant woodlands planted in 2000 for the Woods on your Doorstep project. The Trust's forthcoming annual review will feature a picture of two very special models enjoying the woodland!

In April and May Highcliffe Castle in Dorset put on an exhibition of my New Forest pictures. Thanks to all who visited the exhibition, and a big thank you to those who purchased pictures. A larger New Forest exhibition will return in September at Moors Valley Country Park in Dorset.

It's always great to see my images published on the front covers of magazines, and in April both Devon Life and Somerset Life featured front covers using my pictures. The official Exmoor 2011 guide 'Exmoor Visitor' have also used an image of mine on the front cover, for the second year running. I've lost count of the number of front covers I've been fortunate to have my pictures on although it must be in excess of 200 publications now, yet each and every time I see another one I still get a buzz. As well as cover images, over the past few months I've made many agreements for my images to be used inside magazines as well as on greeting cards and calendars.

My most exciting announcement this month is the publication of my latest book which showcases the beautiful Brecon Beacons through the seasons. I am really excited by this publication and consider the Brecon Beacons to be my best book to date, helped in no small part by the spectacular scenery of the National Park. The Brecon Beacons is out now in bookshops and on Amazon. If you would like a signed and dedicated copy you can purchase direct from my websites merchandise page.

Being busy has also confined me to the office for longer periods than I would normally like, but I have been able to get away for a few trips along the way. In April I enjoyed a week in Snowdonia, a National Park that was pretty much new ground for me. Thanks to the weather it wasn't as productive a trip as I would like, but still I managed to capture several images I am very pleased with, these will soon be making their way to my Wales portfolio on the website. Back to the South West I have made several trips down to Cornwall to finish shooting for my next book project, based on the South West Coast Path. With a deadline of the end of June, photography is almost complete, so now I have the not so fun task of shortlisting the pictures to include and then writing the text. The coastline of the South West has always been very special to me, and is absolutely breathtaking so needless to say I am very excited about this book. It is due to be published around February 2012, at which point, after five book projects in four years I may take a bit of a rest!

Summer looks to continue on the busy front, with more commissions to work upon and a whole host of 1-2-1 tuition days, so lets hope this fine weather continues!
