These huge circular boulders known as Septarian concretions are a geological marvel. In the pre-dawn blue light, they bear more resemblance to giant turtle eggs than rocks. A long exposure provided a smoothing effect on the scene, harmonising the wet sand, sea and sky into a simple background feature to bring emphasis to the fascinating boulders.
