Luckily for me my wife is a very patient and understanding person. This was taken at sunrise on her birthday! It didnt look like any colour was going to appear in the sky on this morning; it was all quite dark and overcast when I arrived about 30 minutes before this shot was taken. But then little by little the glow began to strengthen until this gorgeous pink appeared. Well worth the wait and what a fantastic location to be in for a birthday, despite the early start.
