In recent years Porth Nanven, the tiny little beach at the end of the Cot Valley, has become an extremely popular destination for landscape photographers. It stands proudly on anybody’s shoot list alongside more illustrious landmarks such as Land’s End and St Michaels Mount. These days it is a rare treat to have the beach to yourself at sunset, and this trip was to be no exception. I arrived with a friend Craig Dunn only to find four or five other photographers had beaten us to it. Resisting the urge to move to another beach we found some vacant spots and took our places, enjoying a beautiful sunset develop over the distant Brisons.
