This shot of the Gerlache Strait was taken handheld from our moving ship on a rare moment of beautiful light. This was the only day that we had such quality of light, and it only lasted about 10 minutes so I had to make the most of it. Of course, it happened during dinner time, so I left my full plate and rushed up on deck and took as many photos as possible. The black dots on the berg are Gentoo Penguins, to give you an idea of scale.
