This iconic little tree must be the most photographed in all of Scotland. Anybody driving over the A82 is more likely to spot a landscape photographer than a deer in this area. But this is no complaint; the delicate tree is located on a pretty little island itself situated in a picturesque lochan backed by imposing mountains. Anybody who has travelled over half the UK to reach this spot (and many have driven much further) would be absolutely mad to pass up on photographing it.
