These stones mark the entrance way to Grimspound, a bronze age settlement deep in Dartmoor National Park.  I was fortunate to visit this fantastic location on a freezing winter morning, and set my camera up to capture the frosty landscape just as the dawn sky tinged with pink.  Shortly after taking this image the fog bank, visible on the top right of the picture, crept over Hookney Tor and down into the valley, creating an altogether mysterious atmosphere that was in perfect harmony with the ancient surroundings.
