After a fine morning photographing the sunrise in both Little Langdale and Blea Tarn I was almost about to move onto a new location before my wife suggested we take a walk up into the fells. Although the sun was now high in the sky, I decided to bring along the camera and tripod just in case any opportunities arose. I was absolutely over the moon to discover this splendid vista of the Langdale Pikes, and quickly set up to photograph the beautiful scene before clouds rolled in to obscure the sunlight.
