A pine wood is not the obvious destination to head to for an autumn shoot, but with a hint of mist and a carpet of browned bracken this one in the New Forest proved just about perfect. I really like how these tree trunks are haphazardly leaning this way and that, rather than standing in the usual uniform vertical position.
