I nearly missed this sunset, I nearly missed this shot.  I deliberate ridiculously before visiting locations: will there be a sunset, will I choose the right location to make the most of the light, are there enough clouds in the sky etc etc.  No matter how much I tell myself to just GO, the little voice in my head is always telling me its the wrong decision.  And so it was with this day; I wasn’t going to make the trip, but eventually I persuaded myself to just go for it.  When I arrived I couldn’t decide whether to stay on the clifftops or head down to the beach.  After way too much perseveration I decided to head for the beach for sunset.  By now the sun was going down fast, so I had to race down the cliff footpath to get onto the rocky beach before the lightshow was over.  I shouldn’t have worried, I got to the beach in time for some beautiful pink skies complete with fantastic clouds, found a great composition in minutes and captured some shots I was very pleased with.  So after a productive sunset, did I have all the same issues before the next trip - of course I did!
