Another image captured on our first night in New Zealand. Arriving on the beach I walked along the shore and soon came upon these wonderful sandstone rock pools. As tranquil as this image may look, the reality of the situation was actually quite stressful. Clouds of sandflies buzzed around my head and arms, often taking bites to welcome me back to New Zealand and remind me of how utterly horrible they are!
