A small waterfall cascades over some mossy boulders near Lee Bay. I have photographed many waterfalls over the years, and I almost always go for the ‘smooth water’ approach, which is a result of a long shutter speed. This is very much a love it or hate it thing; I know many people who think it looks unnatural or simply wrong, but I have to say I love the effect of water with a long exposure. I think it helps to convey the movement of the water well and looks really effective when juxtaposed against the solid rocks.
