Here’s a picture from the shores of Kilve on an extremely moody Midsummer’s Day back in June. I was drawn to these beautiful sand ripples, and set up quickly to capture them before the incoming tide flooded the area. Knowing how fast the tide rises on this beach, I thought I would only have several minutes. But I was mistaken; it was more like several seconds before they were flooded! Luckily those several seconds were enough to capture this image.
