A tranquil autumn morning on the banks of Derwent Water at Hawes End. Derwent Water is famous for its many wooden jettys, and for good reason, they make fantastic subjects for landscape images. In this image I included the delicate branches of an overhanging tree to counter balance the bulk of the mountain on the right.
