Sunset succumbs to the clutches of darkness at Hartland Quay in North Devon. There is something very special about photographing these tranquil moments in the fading light. Twilight brings about a mysterious atmosphere to coastal locations; towering cliffs seem to loom even larger in the darkness above while down below ghostly white waves continually wash against the shore. These moments are usually very solitary yet extremely magical, and certainly are an addiction for any devoted landscape photographer.
