The Cotswolds village of Castle Combe looks like it has dropped straight off a film set; it is an incredibly beautiful village, possibly the most picturesque I have visited in England. This viewpoint is a popular one and for obvious reason, yet it is on private land which should not be crossed without permission. Luckily for me, my wife was walking our labradoodle dog which so appealed to the lovely landowner that she allowed us in to photograph from the banks of the stream, to the envy of photographers standing on the other side of the river.
